Indigenous Scholarship

Indigenous Scholarship Application

VSIE is honoured to offer a scholarship in support of First Nations, Inuit and Métis students across Canada, as part of our ongoing commitment to reconciliation and meaningful partnership with Indigenous communities.

This scholarship reflects our belief that education is a path to growth for individuals, families and communities. We invite parents and guardians of any First Nations, Inuit or Métis child in Canada to apply. Applicants identify themselves, and Indian Act status is not required.

All applications are confidential. They are reviewed by VSIE Administration staff and the Board of Directors, and used only for scholarship review.

Territorial Acknowledgement

VSIE staff and students are deeply grateful to live, play, and do our work on the traditional territories of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations, in unceded Lekwungen Territory. We honour those who have stewarded this land before us and those who continue to maintain sacred traditions.
